MR. R. JIMOH
ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER

He was born on 7th July, 1959 at Omungo Oke-Oro in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.  He attended Oke-Oro Community Primary School from 1969 – 1974.  Government Secondary School Omu-Aran 1974/75 – 1978/79.

He joined the Nigerian Television  Authority (NTA) Minna, Niger State on 9th September, 1980 as an Account Clerk.  He went for further studies at Polytechnic of Sokoto State Birnin Kebbi, Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Ikeja.

He obtained National Diploma in Co-operative Marketing 1974, Diploma in Marketing 1995, Higher Diploma Marketing 1999, member of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.  He was transferred to NTA 7 on 1st June, 1988 as Sales Executive, Marketing Officer 1 in January, 1993.

Best worker of the year 1993, 1995 and 1997 in Marketing Department of NTA Channel 7.  He was given management commendation in 1997 for good performance and promoted to level 10 in July, 1997 as Senior Marketing Officer.

Posted to NTA 2 Channel 5 on the 4th October 1999.  Promoted to Principal Marketing Officer 1st October, 2000.  He was transferred to NTA Headquarters Marketing Directorate, in 2001 he worked in National Sales Co-ordination Unit – Marketing Information Services.  He was head of Network Marketing News as a Principal Officer in January 2003 – July 2003, Promoted to Assistant Marketing Manager on 1st January, 2005.  He was transferred to NTA Lagos Channel 10 as Assistant Marketing Manager on 27th March, 2007.

Mr. R. Jimoh is currently heading the Marketing Department of NTA Lagos Channel 10.
