NTA LAGOS HISTORY/PROFILE
About Us The Nigerian Television Authority NTA Lagos Channel 10,
originated as the Nigeria Television Service (NTS) Lagos.
Later, it was renamed NBC TV Lagos in October 1976 and in April 1977, it
was again renamed NTV, Lagos and there after NTA Lagos under the defunct
NTA Zone
In
January, 1978 the station was renamed NTA Channel 10, Lagos. In the year
2007, the station assumed the current name NTA Lagos under the Lagos
Zonal Centre; it is presently located at Tejuosho Avenue, Yaba. NTA
Lagos Channel 10, the station for excellence is unique in the broadcast
of consistently clean signals over a wide coverage area of metropolitan
Lagos, parts of Ogun, Oyo, Edo, Delta, Rivers, kwara, Osun, Ondo States
and the Republic of Benin.
Beaming
quality news and programmes, on the most powerful VHF Band III, NTA
Lagos provides the viable medium for products and corporate promotions
to organizations and individuals.
For
effective, efficient and dynamic operations, NTA Lagos Channel 10 is
headed by a General Manager and Assisted by a team of Managers heading
the six divisions, namely Administration and Training, programmes, News
and Current Affairs, marketing, Finance and Engineering and also
supported by Assistant Managers. |
